The perfect season ends for the girl Panthers in a true nail biter fashion, a free throw would be the deciding factor as the Panthers fall 41-40. The Panthers were held to ten points in the first, while allowing 17 to the Lions. The Panthers would fall behind by 9 in the second quarter, with the score at the half being 29-20 in the Lions favor. The Panthers defense would shine in the third, giving hope to the Panthers as they held the Lions to only 5 points. Down by 6 going into the fourth, the Panther defense would continue to keep the clamps on the Lions holding them to only 7 points, but would just fall short to the Lions 41-40. 

The boy Panthers would meet the same fate as the girls, as they fall 86-71 to the Lions. Both teams would go back and forth in the first, with a 1 point differential going into the second quarter. With the score at 20-19, the Panthers would not be able to answer the Lions, being outscored 22-15. With the score at 42-34 to start the second half, the Lions would continue to score more than twenty points per quarter. The Panthers would answer in kind however, with both teams scoring 23 points in the third. The Panthers would score 14 points in the fourth, but would fall to the Des Moines Christian Lions, 86-71
