All three schools in Guthrie County are sending students to Ankeny Centennial today for the Iowa High School Speech Association’s Large Group Speech Contest.

Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center has 13 groups that are making the trip, with two group improvs, two radio news, three group mimes, two musical theaters, a one act play and an ensemble acting group. Panorama has three groups going, with the musical theater group performing “Avenue Q,” the reader’s theater group performing “The Norse Mythology Ragnasplosion” and the choral reading group performing “The Tell Tale Heart.” West Central Valley is sending one group improv team.
