The Dallas County Conservation Board (DCCB) will be holding its first event for February this weekend.

Conservation Board Outreach Coordinator Sarah McKeever says the month of February is jam packed with many upcoming events. The Hard Water Hike will be held this Sunday, beginning at 1pm at the North Raccoon River Wildlife Area at Snyder Tract, located at 21468 Minburn Road in Minburn. 

McKeever indicates that since there’s no precipitation, then this year’s hike might be a little sloshy, and reminds participants to dress appropriately. Registration is required and can be done so here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/hard-water-hike-tickets-771726012277.
