Perry will play their first home game since December 19th tonight. The Bluejays host Atlantic for a solo boys contest. This game was originally scheduled for January 27th. Perry has had to make numerous changes to the schedule in January because of the weather and incident on the 4th.
Perry comes into the contest 5-11 and fresh off a win Monday night against Woodward Academy, 74-60. Atlantic fell on Tuesday night to Red Oak, 64-56. They now sit at 5-11.
The Trojans have one of the top scorers in the state, Colton Rasmussen. The senior averages 28.7 ppg.
Even with the losing record Atlantic plays in close games as they average 60.9 points per game while they give up 64.6. That’s a difference of 3.7. Perry only scores at a clip of 53.6 and give up 65.9. That’s a difference of 12.4.
Varsity competition starts at 6 PM at the Perry High School.
