The Girls State Wrestling Tournament is happening later this week in Coralville, with Raccoon Valley Radio delivering coverage.

 

There will be seven teams that Raccoon Valley Radio will be covering with 11 athletes representing from Perry and the Raccoon River Wrestling squads. The athletes from Perry are Mercedes Ponce in the 105 weight class and Julie Maylum in the 140 weight class. 

 

Raccoon River Wrestling are sending nine wrestlers to state with Katie Biscoglia, Quincy Cooper, Natalie Keller, Izzy Duncan, Calista Rodish, Ellie Hancock, Naomi Templeman, Aleah Johnson, and Reese Baxter. The wrestlers will be competing at Xtream Arena in Coralville both Thursday and Friday, beginning at 10am.
