The State of Iowa Representative is working on personal bills to pass in the Senate, with one of those linking insurance companies to child safety. 

Iowa Representative David Young has a bill in the Senate dealing with insurance companies that covers damages to child safety seats and restraint systems. Young goes more in depth with exactly what the bill does.

“My bill simply says that these car seats are covered under a vehicle’s insurance policy.”

Representative Young clarifies that the bill passed in the House unanimously last year and passed the Subcommittee in the past few weeks. Young underscores that he doesn’t want families to pay for damage from an accident out of pocket and that the insurance will cover them.
