The Wildcat Boys Wrestling team traveled to AC/GC for the Charger invitational and had two Wildcats place with Jared Rodriguez placing 3rd at 150. Zach Teague was the other lone Wildcat two place at the invitational, placing 5th at 215. 

Teague scored 21 team points for the Panthers and placed 5th after beating Marcus Ball of Greene County by fall after receiving a first round bye. Tate Dierking of Southeast Warren/Melcher-Dallas would beat Teague by major decision in the quarterfinals. Teague would fall to Kane Mahler-Moreno of Woodward-Granger by fall to enter the 5th place match, where Teague would beat Culter Buban of Wayne, Corydon by fall within an impressive 37 seconds. 

Jared Rodriguez received a bye to start the contest, then won by fall over Dax Frey of Woodward-Granger. Rodriguez would go on to beat Austin Henderson of Wayne, Corydon by fall to lead him to the semifinals where Rodriguez would lose to Carter Metcalf of Pleasantville by fall. Momentum would come back into Rodriguez’s favor as he won his next two matches to claim 3rd place, beating Jackson Turner of Greene County by technical fall and Austin Henderson of Wayne Corydon by fall again in an impressive 58 seconds.
