Mark Dugan II, age 44, 2101 Clark St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violation of Parole.

Cheryl Habr, Granger, was traveling on Hwy 141, when she pulled into the median drive in the 17900 block of Hwy 141.  Ms. Habr proceeded through the intersection  causing a collision with Fausto Beato Amparo, Perry.  Ms Habr and a passenger were taken to Mercy Hospital for evaluation of any injuries.  Ms. Habr’s car had estimated damage of $5000.  Mr. Beato Amparo had estimated damage of $5000.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Ms. Habr was cited for Failure To Yield While Entering Through Highway.  Mr. Beato Amparo was cited for Failure To Provide Proof of Financial Liability.

Brennan Rodriguez, Muskegon, MI, was driving in the 35000 block of N Ave, when he lost control and went into the east ditch after hitting a mailbox.  Mr. Rodriguez was taken to the hospital for evaluation of any injuries.  Damage to Mr. Rodriguez car was estimated at $50.  Damage to the mailbox was estimated at $50.  The vehicle was left on scene to be moved at a later time.

Jan. 27

Dennis Block, Windsor Heights, was legally parked in the 700 block of Marshall St in Dexter.  Sometime during the evening, an unknown vehicle hit his legally parked car causing an estimated $4000 damage.  No injuries were reported.

Jan. 28

Timothy Arnold, age 38, 26710 352nd Place, Van Meter, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault, Obstruction Of Emergency Communications, Harassment-1st Degree, Criminal Mischief – 3rd degree.

Amy Rieks, age 45, 2643 CC Ave, Victor, was arrested for Speeding, Operating While Under The Influence, Open Container and Possession Or Carrying Of Dangerous Weapon While Intoxicated.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
