The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is offering a program for young children and families.

The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program is open now for families with children between the ages of newborn to five years old. The program is free to participate in, but families do need to register, which they can do by visiting the library’s website. During the program, families keep track of the books they read on a log sheet. More information can be found on the website, or by calling the library at 641-747-8110.
