The new team from Dallas County ISU Extension will be represented at the First Lego League State Championship this weekend.

The First Lego League State Championships will be held at Iowa State University in Ames today and tomorrow. The team from Dallas County Iowa State University (ISU) Extension & Outreach will feature six kids that are between the ages of 9-14. 

A representative from Dallas County Extension notes that the kids will participate in a robot competition, demonstrating design, innovation projects, and core values. The representative hopes that the students have fun at the competition with the basics behind designing a robot, learning how to strategize, as well as working as a team.
