The Community Players of Greene County has announced the cast list for their upcoming spring production.

“The Nerd” is the story by Larry Shue is about a military veteran who is now an architect and gets a visit from another veteran who he never met but saved his life. The visitor, Rick Steadman, turns the architect’s 34th birthday celebration into shambles because of his awkward manner and inappropriate behavior.

The individuals who are in the cast include Jeff Hughes, Sarah Stortz, Alex Hammond, Josh Tuel, Darren Jackson, Tim Pound, Heather Moody, and Chloe Powers. According to the Players, Powers and Stortz are performing in their first Community Players production. The show is co-directed by Tuel and Stephanie Hall. Performances are April 5th-7th at Greene County High School auditorium.
