Greene County hosted the Ankeny Hawks in high school bowling in Jefferson on Friday at Spare Time Lanes with the Rams winning both matches. The final for the girls was 1,806-1,757, and the boys’ score was 2,699-2,618. The Rams are now 6-2 on the boys side and 2-6 on the girls. The Ankeny girls are 1-7 and the boys are 0-8.
Graci Cooklin rolled a two game series of 283 for the Greene County girls with Ava Schilling next at 270. Schilling had the high individual game at 158.
Greene County’s boys were led by Chase Fecher at 472 for his two games, and Lane Fields was next at 384. Fecher, a freshman, had the high game on the day at 246 and Fields rolled a game of 199.
