The West Central Valley Wildcats GIrls Basketball team came out on top against the Baxter Bolts winning 42-21. The Wildcats came out with a fire in the first, scoring 16 points while their defense held the clamps on the Bolts, keeping them from scoring. The Wildcats kept this momentum until the start of the fourth quarter, scoring 11 points in the second, and 13 in the third. Although the Bolts were able to score 11 points against the Wildcats in the third, they were held to only 10 combined points in the second and fourth quarters, allowing the Wildcats to come out victorious 42-21.
The Wildcats move up to 6-7. Both teams play the Van Meter Bulldogs on Friday. Tip off for the girls starts at 6pm.
