The AC/GC Chargers hosted the Earlham Cardinals Thursday night, and both teams came out on top.

The girls started things off with a close 9-7 start, then finished the half up 20-19. In the second half, shots fell easier, and the Chargers began to pull away, going up 41-27 at the end of the third, then extending the lead in the final quarter and finishing 65-38. The team was lead by senior guard Kelsey Carlson, and sophomore forward Camdyn Richter when it came to scoring.

The boys were up next, and faced a similar start. The Chargers led 15-13 at the end of the first, then outscored the Cardinals 15-7 in the second to go into halftime up 30-20. The team then came out from the break and had a close third quarter, scoring 16 to the Cardinals 14, then went up 11-6 in the final quarter to take the game 57-42.
