Last night Perry boys basketball won their first game in the month of January. They knocked off Fort Dodge 69-65. A strong start in the first gave them a 19-12 lead. The Dodgers would rally in the second and outscore Perry by fourteen to take a lead into half, 39-32. Perry would take a one point lead into the fourth, 51-50. They would ultimately win by four after outscoring Fort Dodge 18-15 in the fourth quarter.
Three Bluejays reached double figures Myers 19, Kenney 17, and Drahos 16.
69 points is the second most points Perry has scored this season.
Perry improves to 4-9 and returns to action tonight in Monroe against PCM.
