The Adel Public Library has a busy month of February to look forward to with some themed events centered around Valentines Day. However, the library has a brand new program that will start next Thursday, February 1st. The library will hold a Homeschool Book Club from 10-11am for students in first grade and higher. Patrons Services Manager Amy Puck discusses February’s  theme for the book club.

“This month book club theme, which is going to be animals. You are welcome to bring in a fiction or nonfiction book, we will have plenty of books for you to choose from. Or you can just pick something out at home and bring it on in. We do encourage children from ages 6-11, siblings are welcome but please stop in and take part in our new Homeschool Book Club.”

Puck mentions the motivation behind starting this program is because the library was lacking in an elementary book club. If interested in any upcoming programs, visit the Adel Library website at https://adelpl.org/.
