The Dallas County Hospital (DCH) is celebrating 2024 as a milestone year. 

DCH Director of Marketing and Foundation Thomas Harmsen says the Dallas County Hospital has been a vital resource not only in the Perry community but surrounding areas as well. This year the hospital honors its 70th anniversary of assisting communities in the medical department. Harmsen highlights a celebratory event coming up in a few months.

“Where we hope to engage the public is at our 70-year fundraising gala. That will happen on Friday, April 19th, starting at 5:30(pm) at Country Linn Lodge in Adel. And we’ll have a silent auction piece, we’re coordinating some entertainment.”

More information about the gala will be available at a later date. Harmsen expresses the gratitude of being in a position to be celebrating 70 years of service and sustainability.
