January 20th was a big day for Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center High School, as they hosted the District Large Group Speech Contest.

Speech Coach Kelsey Dinkla shared that the school was able to have 13 teams of students compete, and 11 of those teams received a Division I Rating, and will be heading to the State Contest at Ankeny Centennial on February 3rd. The teams that will be advancing include two group improvs, two radio news, three group mimes, two musical theaters, a one act play which received straight I’s, and an ensemble acting group.
