Saturday, January 20th
9:00am: A deputy assisted a motorist on Neola Avenue near 330th Street.
9:15am: A deputy investigated a theft on South 8 th Street and Main Street, Grand Junction.
2:12pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 300 block of Sunset Drive, Grand Junction.
5:22pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with trying to find a key that a resident lost in their yard in the 300 block of South Cedar Street.
5:38pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 1100 block of Eaton Avenue.
6:24pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near R Avenue.
6:43 pm: A deputy assisted a motorist stuck in the ditch on 220th Street near X Avenue.
11:20pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on I Avenue near 160th Street.
Sunday, January 21st
12:26am: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 200 block of North Main Street, Paton.
1:49am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a traffic stop on North Elm Street and West Washington Street.
3:33am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near W Avenue.
11:03am: A deputy assisted the Webster County Animal Control Officer with looking a for a stolen dog from Fort Dodge.
11:20am: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street near W Avenue.
12:26pm: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 300 block of South 11th Street, Grand Junction.
2:03pm: A deputy investigated a single rollover accident on 220th Street near F Avenue. Timothy Hawkinson 44 of Carroll lost control of a 2001 F 150 on a patch of ice and rolled the truck once in the ditch. The estimated damage to the vehicle is 2,000 dollars.
2:12pm: A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on 220th Street near G Avenue. Grace Barloon 21 of Nevada was following Masie Lewis of Ames. Lewis hit her breaks on some ice in a 2010 Kia Soul causing Barloon to do the same in a 2009 Nissan Rogue. Barloon struck Lewis’s vehicle. Barloon entered the ditch after the impact. The estimated damage to the Kia Soul is 1,500 dollars. The estimated damage to the Rogue is 500 dollars. Nobody was injured in the accident.
5:52pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 300 block of Trinity Avenue, Paton.
Monday, January 22nd
8:11am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle rollover accident on Neola Avenue near 265th Street. Betty Dorpinghaus 82 of Coon Rapids hit a patch of ice and lost control of a 2008 Chrysler Sebring. The vehicle entered the West ditch and rolled. Dorpinghaus was transported to the Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Ambulance. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
10:06am: David Holley 53 of Scranton was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
4:35pm: Larissa Beaty 41 of Ankeny was booked into the jail for driving while barred and possession of a controlled substance 1st offense.
5:58pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near E Avenue.
7:20pm: Carlos Gonzalez 48 of Dayton was booked into the jail for driving while barred.
Tuesday, January 23rd
6:46am: A deputy assisted a motorist in the ditch on 230th Street near S Avenue.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
