
The AC/GC Chargers were on the road for their first game of the week last night, and took on the Woodward-Granger Hawks.
The girls started things off with a close start, ending the first quarter up 14-12, but pulled away in the second to go into halftime up 27-15. The Hawks put up the most points in the third quarter, but were still outscored by the Chargers 21-19, ending the quarter up 48-34. Both teams scored 12 in the final quarter, and AC/GC came away with the 61-47 victory.
The Chargers boys team also started things out close, trailing at the end of the first 13-8. Both teams scored 12 in the second quarter, and went into halftime down 25-20. The Chargers were outscored again in the next two quarters, 16-15 and 13-10 respectively, and finished the game down 54-45.
