The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The Council will consider for approval setting another public hearing for a rezoning application for KCG at 403 West Head Street, due to the representatives not being there at tomorrow night’s meeting. The Council will also consider for approval purchasing a sanitation and recycling truck, an engagement letter with Piper Sandler and Company for assistance with general obligation bond underwriting, and setting a public hearing date to enter into a general obligation loan agreement to not exceed $1.7 million to finance the sanitation truck purchase and the East Lincoln Way resurfacing project. 

Additionally, the Council will consider for approval the Jefferson Library Readiness Study, amending an ordinance to change the Parks and Recreation Board and amending an ordinance for provisions of oversized water meter surcharges, with also consideration to waive the second and third readings for both ordinances. They will also consider approving a contract with Sebourn Video Services, the new animal shelter name, two economic development agreements for Gergory and Shirley Hacker, as well as Jacob and Jeanna Keller. The Council will also consider approving a resolution to engage Bolton and Menk for general engineering services for 2024, and hear reports from Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County and Jefferson Matters.
