A winter activity is now open at Adel Parks & Recreation. 

Adel Parks & Rec has opened their ice skating rink at the Community Stage by the Raccoon Valley Bank. The rink is free and open to the public from sunrise to sunset, although there are lights available at night to continue skating. Skates will be provided by Adel Parks & Rec at a Wooden Shed during the day. Participants are asked to return their skates when done, so other people can use them.

Adel Parks & Rec reminds citizens that if there is a sign up to not skate, then please abide by it. The sign references that the ice is too dangerous to skate on. Any additional questions can be answered by Adel Parks & Rec at (515)-993-4525.
