A fundraiser for a town celebration in Greene County is taking place later today.

The 50107 Summerfest Committee is hosting a meal, bake sale and silent auction from 5-7:30pm at the Grand Junction Community Center for this year’s annual summer event. The meal includes chili or potato soup, cinnamon rolls, desserts and a drink for $7 for individuals 15 and older, $5 for 6-14 years old, and those five and younger can eat for free. 

Additionally, there will also be a bake sale and a silent auction that features items that were donated from individuals and businesses across Greene County. The silent auction will end at 7pm and winners will be announced after. All proceeds will be used for this year’s 50107 Summerfest in Grand Junction.
