Thursday, January 18th

6:41am: Michael Matthews of Grand Junction reported a possible assault in progress at a residence in the 500 block of North Oak Street. An Officer responded and was told by the female resident an assault had not occurred. As a result of the investigation, Madison Meyers of Jefferson was placed under arrest for Possession of Alcohol by Person 18/19/20 – 1st Offense.

11:12am: The Greene County Elementary School reported a staff member was being harassed over Facebook Messenger. As a result of the investigation, Jared Dean Dennhardt of Jefferson was charged with “Harassment in the 3rd Degree”

1:26pm: An employee with the Jefferson Public Library requested a welfare check on an elderly female in the 200 block of West Lincoln Way. The Officer completed the check and assisted as needed.

1:18pm: An Officer performed a traffic stop near the intersection of West Harrison Street and South Elm Street. As a result of the traffic stop, Jeremy Andrews of Jefferson was placed under arrest for “Driving While Barred” and issued a citation for “Violation of Financial Liability Coverage”

1:54pm: An Officer assisted a vehicle stuck in the snow on North Grimmell Road.

5:17pm: An Officer was asked to check on a vehicle in the ditch on 220th Street near the intersection with L Avenue. The Officer located the vehicle and advised the Greene County Deputy of the situation.

10:21pm: Brittany Smith of Jefferson reported an unwanted male at an apartment in the 300 block of West Greenwood Road. The Officer arrived and found the male had already left the apartment.
