As we head into the final full week of January, the Adel Public Library has some more fun programs planned, including an informative session involving Dungeons & Dragons.
The month of January still has plenty in store for the Adel Library. Coming up on Saturday, the library will be hosting an Elephant and Piggie Party at 10am featuring special themed crafts. On Monday, January 22nd, there will be a Homeschool Meet-Up from 9-11am for families to connect. Tuesday, kids from kindergarten to fifth grade will be involved in making marshmallow snowflakes at 4pm and a Teen Hang-Out program will be held on Thursday at 4pm.
In addition, the library will have a lesson to learn more about Dungeons & Dragons. Patrons Services Manager Amy Puck asks for volunteers with experience with Dungeons and Dragons.
“If you have the experience and the knowledge and are willing to volunteer your time for a group of teens, we would love to have you stop into the library. You’re welcome to talk to me or you can call the library and ask for me.”
The program will be on Friday, January 26th from 2-4pm and is tailored for students in 7th to 12th grade. No previous gaming experience is required to participate but if interested, there is a waiting list to sign up for.
