US Representative Zach Nunn made a stop in Guthrie County Monday.

Nunn and staffers of his Iowa offices met with small business owners from Casey and Adair. He shared that freshman representatives don’t get the opportunity to help lead bills, but that he’s been fortunate enough to be on three. Nunn also mentioned that he believes that there are three legs for community level success, including that the community is good for families in that it has housing, education and childcare. Attendees also shared some things that they believed are needed in the area, including expansion of rural water after the last few years of drought conditions. Nunn then shared that he and his office have been looking around the state for ideas on viable childcare options, and what the national budget may look like.
