All three counties in the Raccoon Valley Radio area saw an decrease in unemployment last month.

According to Iowa Workforce Development, Greene County dropped 0.4 percent from October to November to 2.2 percent. Dallas County also decreased 0.3 percent from October to November to 2.4 percent. There was a 0.2 percent decline in the unemployment rate for Guthrie County from October to November to 2.8 percent. 

The statewide unemployment rate had an increase of 0.1 percent from October to November to 3.3 percent. The national unemployment rate for November was 3.7 percent.
