The Adel Chamber looks to keep the momentum going in 2024 after a successful 2023.
The new year can bring lots of excitement, and also offers a chance to look back on the previous year. For the Adel Chamber, there were many memorable moments that happened in 2023. Some of those events included the Sweet Corn Festival, and the Hometown Holiday Celebration featuring the lighting of the tree, samples of holiday treats, plus Breakfast with Santa. The Adel Partners Chamber Board President, Deb Bengston covered positives throughout the last year.
“Well we’ve had an absolutely awesome year. Adel is in such a growth mode, we have really had some new members come on board and new businesses join us in Adel, and that has been really exciting. Sort of a double edged sword.”
Bengston affirmed that in her seven years as Partners Chamber Board President, there has been an influx of new members as well as the most members during her tenure of over 220. Bengston complimented how hard working the Chamber members are.
“They’re very engaged and involved. Every board member has one event that they really like and work with, and champion that event, so we’re really blessed at such an engaged board and ready to step up and help out anytime we need them.”
Bengston talked about the board approving a four-point strategic plan that features leveraging the marketing, igniting membership and connecting with residents, the arts and trails of committee, and the pride shown with economic development. Contact the Adel Chamber at (515)-993-5472.
