The ADM Tigers women’s basketball team played conference matchup Carlisle Wildcats as their first game out of winter break. The Tigers fell to the Wildcats with a final score of 49-60. The Wildcats took the lead early on in the game as they held a 19 point lead heading into the half, 15-34. Coming out of the half though the Tigers came alive as they went on 11 point run against the Wildcats. Looking to stay in the game. The Tigers were unable to come back as the final for Tuesday nights game was 49-60, resulting in a Wildcats win.
Although the Tigers may of lost there were some positives from the young Tiger team. The team worked hard in the break with scrimmages and it showed as the team was able to create more shots, and break the full-court press when faced with it. Player of the Game was Kelli Storck who recorded 13 points against the Wildcats.
The lady Tigers look to return this Friday against close rivals Winterset Huskies. The Tigers are now 4-7 overall and 2-4 in the Raccoon River Conference.
