Perry High School continues the search for a new football coach into the New Year. After just one season, Tyler Hovey resigned from the role. Hovey received a promotion at his day job and that was the reason for stepping down. He hopes to remain on the staff going forward. Prior to being the head man, he was an assistant for 3 years. The search for a new coach has resulted in three interviews. AD, Katelyn Whelchel says “they are going through the process”. The Bluejays finished last year 2-7.
