Friday, December 29th

12:38am: An officer located an Open Door at 1407 North Elm Street. The officer contacted a Key Holder for the business.

5:00am: Kaylea Spaulding reported a Careless Driver on Hwy. 4, heading north towards Jefferson. The officer did not locate the vehicle.

10:17am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street.

2:09pm: Jessica Kinsey requested an officer to be present during a Civil Child Custody Exchange at 500 North Chestnut Street.

4:26pm: During a Traffic Stop near Olive and Clark Streets, Candi Wenger of Jefferson was cited for, “Driving While Suspended and Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”

4:51pm: Kelsea Hawley requested a Welfare Check on a male Jefferson resident. The officer is working to locate the subject.

Saturday, December 30th

5:38pm: Lawrence Blake requested assistance in locating his wife. She had left earlier in the day and had not returned home. She later arrived back at home and was fine.

9:10pm: Gary Parker reported someone was pounding on his door and running away from 500 West Mahlon Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.

9:27pm: Lisa Potter reported a Careless Driver on 220th Street, heading west towards Jefferson. The officer located the reported vehicle and followed it for a time. No infractions were witnessed by the officer.

Sunday, December 31st

10:31am: An officer checked on a subject after dispatch received a Pendant Alert Activation at 1001 West Washington Street. The officer located the subject, who was fine.

11:23am: A Traffic Stop near Elm and Lincoln Way Streets resulted in Joel Schwarzkopf of Wall Lake being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”

12:38pm: A Traffic Stop near Oak and Adams Streets resulted in Daniel Mutchler of Des Moines being cited for, Driving While Suspended.”

11:34pm: Vince Ratliff requested an officer at 102 West Vest Street for a subject with mental health issues. The officer met with Ratliff and a family member at the residence. No one was having mental health issues. The officer mediated the issue and the pair separated for the night.

11:47pm: The Wild Rose casino requested an officer at 777 Wild Rose Lane for a patron refusing to leave, after being told to do so. The officer arrived and spoke to the subject, who left on her own.

Monday, January 1st

3:14am: The Sioux City PD spoke to an officer with concerns for a Jefferson resident, who had been in their city earlier. The officer checked and found no reports of checking, or looking for the subject in Jefferson.

10:12am: An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of North Locust Street.

11:51am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 500 Block of South Wilson Ave.

12:53pm: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Elm resulted in Paige Peasley of Lake City being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”

2:17pm:, Jodi Ganoe reported a possible NCO Violation. The officer is investigating.

3:15pm: Pamela Creese requested an officer to be present for a Civil Property Exchange at 1000 West Adams Street.
