The Jayettes struggled in the first half of the season as Coach Klein entered into his first year. Perry entered the break on a 9 game losing streak and currently sit at 1-9 (0-6). Coach Klein wants the team to be more aggressive in the new year and do a better job holding onto the ball.
The Jayettes return after the winter break this week against another team looking for their first conference win this Friday January 5th in Greene County.
Back to back non conference games on January 8th, Des Moines North, and January 9th, Grand View Christian, will follow.
Perry will travel to Nevada on January 12th.
The Jayettes get the chance to play at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines against Saydel on January 16th.
The first home game of 2024 will come on January 19th against the current lossless Roland-Story.
South Hamilton will be in Perry on January 23rd.
Perry plays host to Fort Dodge on January 25th.
The Jayettes will be at PCM on January 26th.
The conference schedule concludes with Greene County in town on February 6th.
The regular season ends with a trip to Webster City on February 8th.
