One of the final opportunities to see Santa before Christmas is tomorrow in Jefferson.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the main lobby of the Greene County Medical Center tomorrow from 4-5:30pm. The medical center is also doing a canned food drive at this same time, so individuals and families are also encouraged to bring a canned food item to be given to the local food pantry, the Greene County Action Resource Center in Jefferson.

Additionally, there will be the annual Tree of Life ceremony taking place also in the medical center lobby at 12:30pm tomorrow. This is in memory of loved ones who have passed on, as those individuals are remembered with ornaments on a tree at the medical center. The ceremony highlights the meaning of the Tree of Life as well as those loved ones who have passed on. This is a free and open to the public event. The medical center will also live stream the program on Facebook.
