While the Stuart Public Library has many fun events that they plan out each month, they also have regular services they provide.

Rachel Majerus with the Stuart Library says they not only have books for the community to check out, but that they also have movies, audiobooks and puzzles available as well. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio of some of the other services and fun things to do at the library.

“We have a monthly scavenger hunt where there’s pictures hidden around the library, and you can go on the hunt and see if you can find them all. There is always our computers, people have access to get onto our free wifi when they come in.”

Majerus mentions that there are also weekly cribbage games on Tuesdays and Fridays, in which the regulars are more than happy to teach the game to newcomers as well. She adds they also have many crafts that children can take part in, along with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) activities. Majerus says there are also meeting rooms that local organizations and businesses can utilize.
