Next week the Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be having a fun craft.

Extension Program Director Meghan McBride says that community members are invited to the Extension December 5th, to make a layered wood tree trio craft. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what people will be able to do in the class.

“You get to pick a color scheme, a scrapbook paper, and then some holiday wood sayings. And you get to make your own tree trio decoration.”

McBride mentions that the end product will be approximately 11 inches tall, with a five inch by 12 inch base. The class is $45 dollars, which covers all the supplies that will be used. To get signed up, call Jolene Peters at 515-370-2824, or visit her website.
