As winter sports get their start, some young men from the AC/GC Chargers football team have been named to the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association All-State Teams.

Senior Payton Jacobe was named 1st Team All-State Defensive Line, making this the third year that he’s received All-State honors. Junior Mason Wahl was named 2nd Team All-State Offensive Line, while fellow junior Jathan South received 1st Team All-State Defensive Back honors. Sophomore Carter Richter was also named 1st Team All-State Offensive Line, while senior Anthony Solorzano was named 2nd Team All-State Defensive Utility.
