The ADM women’s basketball team is traveling tonight for tonight’s matchup against the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs. Head Coach Jacob Cleveland emphasized the team’s focus on defense, stating, “we’re going to have to get our hand in the face for a threes… so that’s kind of our game plan there is try to limit them getting the lane… so we’re going to have to just play really steady defense and box out and you know make sure that we get a hand in their face and see what happens.”
Coming off a recent victory against the Van Meter Bulldogs, the Tigers are aiming to build on their defensive strengths to increase their offensive performance. Coach Cleveland acknowledged the team’s ongoing adjustments, saying, “I don’t think we’ve really scratched the surface of how good our defense can get.”
