It’s Greene County girls and boys basketball tonight in Ogden vs. the host Bulldogs. The boys’ teams will be playing for the first time this season while it’s contest number two for the girls’ teams. Both games can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with coverage at 5:45 p.m.

Coach Chris Nelson’s Rams have limited starting experience back from the 10-13 season of 2023-24. Gabe Ebersole and Brynley Ruzicka have the most varsity experience after being starters a season ago. Coach Scott Church’s Bulldogs graduated their leading scorer from their 13-10 record last season, but all the others with regular playing time were not seniors.

Greene County’s girls’ lost 54-31 last Tuesday at Woodward to Woodward-Granger in their season opener. Emma Shipley had 12 points to lead the scoring for Coach Tori Ogden. The Rams suited just seven players in game one due to injuries and other reasons, and the coach is hoping to have at least one of the players back tonight that missed the season opener.
