A private family service for Colleen Mackey, 77, of Churdan, Iowa will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson with the burial at Highland Township Cemetery in Churdan.    The family requests that memorials be sent to “The Mackey Family” at 1802 SW State St, Ankeny, IA 50023.  Online condolences may be left at www.sliningerschroeder.com.

Colleen is survived by her three children, Todd (Michelle) Mackey of Ankeny, Shawn (Michelle) Mackey of Ankeny and Heather Steimel of Churdan; seven grandchildren: Mackenzie, Carson, Mikala, Mikena, Mya, Tessa and Kinnick; her mother, Bonnie Florke of Colo; her three siblings: Gary (Mary) Florke of Marine on St. Croix, MN, Robin Klatt of Colo, Kim (Carole Hall) Florke of Mingo, IA; one niece, Anna (John) Weigelt of Polk City, IA and great-nephew Bennett; Aunt Marvel (Larry) Callen of Jefferson, IA and numerous cousins and friends.
