With today being National Small Business Saturday, one organization in Perry is reminding everyone to shop local.

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti invites everyone to support local businesses in the Perry area as that is one way to help grow the local economy.

“It’s just a nice reminder for people to shop local businesses, we say it year ‘round, Small Business Saturday is the national effort to support small businesses as well. (It’s) always the Saturday after Thanksgiving.” 

Pasutti reminds everyone that Perry Chamber Bucks is another way to support local businesses as they are the same as cash and those don’t have an expiration date.
