Drought conditions continue to be stagnant in the Raccoon Valley Radio area.
According to the US Drought Monitor, Dallas and Guthrie counties are still in a severe drought for the third consecutive week. Greene County is mostly abnormally dry with the northern and southern most portions under a severe drought.
According to the National Weather Service, Jefferson and Guthrie Center have seen no precipitation this month and their monthly averages are 1.34 inches and 1.49 inches, respectively. Perry has had 0.02 inches of precipitation this month with their average for November at 1.57 inches.
