Friday, November 17th

8:30am: Jeanette Flack reported receiving a Scam Call. They attempted to make her believe she was a suspect in a money laundering case. The call was ended and no information was provided to the caller.

10:08: An Amazon Driver reported a missing manhole cover near Lincoln Way and Cedar Streets. Public Works replaced the cover.

10:30am: An officer performed a Funeral Escort.

10:58am:A Traffic Stop at Elm and American Avenue resulted in Consuelo Perez of Churdan being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid DL.”

11:01am: The Greene County Middle School reported a student had been caught with a vaping device. The officer is investigating.

12:04pm: Connie Burgart reported a Careless Driver on 235th Street, heading west into Jefferson. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.

12:26pm: Dale Ganoe spoke with an officer concerning a Civil Issue with a vehicle.

5:37pm: Casey’s reported a No Contact Violation had occurred at 508 North Elm Street. The officer’s investigation has led to an Arrest Warrant request for (3) Counts of Violation of No Contact Order – Simple.”

612pm: Regency park reported the Theft of Prescription Medications from 100 Ram Drive. The event is under investigation.

Saturday, November 18th

1:23am: Crystal Thomas reported an alarm had been sounding all day in the empty upstairs apartment at 304 North Oak Street. The officers were able to disarm the smoke alarm and contact the property owner.

2:02pm: Trisha Emery reported a vehicle, with an open door, parked partially in the alley in the 100 Block of South Chestnut Street. The officer contacted the owner, and the vehicle was removed.

4:31pm: A Traffic Stop in the 900 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulted in Abdul Muhammad of GA. Being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

5:41pm: Stephanie Bickle reported her juvenile daughter had taken a bunch of Melatonin Tablets and ran from 703 West State Street. The officers located the juvenile in the area and transported her to ER.

5:54pm: A Traffic Stop near Lincoln Way and Chestnut Streets resulted in Ashley Spaulding of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”

10:52pm: A Traffic Stop was performed with a vehicle that did not stop at the posted stop sign near Elm and 220th Streets. During the interaction, the officer could smell alcohol coming from the driver. The investigation led to the arrest of Dillion Schriever, 22 of Greene for, “OWI 3rd Offense – D Felony and Fail to Obey Stop Sign – Simple.”

11:19pm: An officer was advised of a Possible Intoxicated Driver on 220th Street, coming from Ames heading to Carroll. The vehicle was not located.

Sunday, November 19th

2:25pm: Casey’s reported the subject reported earlier on the Violation of a No Contact Order was present again at 508 North Elm Street. The subject left before the officers arrived.

Monday, November 20th

9:18pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1700 Block of Westwood Drive resulted in Rose Lehrkamp of Scranton being cited for, “Excessive Speed and No Valid DL.”
