Last Saturday, the Dallas Center – Grimes girls wrestling program competed in the Urbandale Invite, and they were able to finish 2nd in the eight team field while also finding strong individual performances in the process.

Three different wrestlers were able to find a first place finish, with Asia Jahangir, Bella Mulder, and Halley Beaudet were all able to claim first place finishes in their weight class, putting together a strong performance overall. Georgia Edwards was able to grab a second place finish, while Jenah Gray, Allie Van Der Molen, and Aubrey Borcherding were all able to get a 3rd place finish as well.

DCG will be looking for more good performances in the coming weeks, as they look to put together more strong overall performances.
