The Thanksgiving holiday is this week and there will be several closures in Perry and Adel.

The Perry City offices, Perry Water Works, Perry Public Library and the McCreary Community Building will also be closed Thursday and Friday. Perry residents are reminded that garbage routes for Thursday will be picked up on Wednesday and Friday’s routes will be collected as normal. The 24-hour fitness center at the McCreary Community Building will be open for anyone 18 and older who has access. 

The City of Adel will have its City Hall closed Wednesday through Friday, while the Adel Public Library is closed Thursday through Sunday. Finally, Dallas County offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the holiday.
