One of the Greene County High School Esports Teams finished with a perfect fall season.
The Rams defended their team state title from last spring and brought the trophy back to Jefferson after making a clean sweep of its opponents in the game Smite. Greene County went into the state tournament as the top seed with a 7-0 record, having won all 14 games.
Then in the state tournament, the Rams beat all three opponents without dropping a game, with Center-Point Urbana in the opening round, then Lone Tree in the semi-finals and taking down sixth seed East Buchanan winning all six games.
