A traditional family fun event is coming back tomorrow in Adel.

The Adel Parks and Recreation is once again teaming up with Adel Fareway to sponsor the Turkey Toss. This contest includes teams of one parent and one child from the same family that will shoot a total of 30 free throws with plastic turkeys from the free throw line, with each competitor allowed 15 shots. Adel Fareway will give the winners from the five different age groups, ages 8 to 18, a certificate for a free 10-12 pound turkey from Adel Fareway.

The competition will be held at the District Administration Center gym in Adel starting at 2pm. No pre-registration is necessary for this free event.
