Tuesday night was the opening night of the Dallas Center – Grimes girls wrestling team and they were able to find some nice results, finding a win over Fort Dodge as a team 54-24 while falling to Ankeny in the process 72-9.

Asia Jahangir was able to record a 9-2 victory as well as a fall during the match, as she was the only wrestler with two wins on the day. Bella Mulder, Jenah Gray, Allie Van Der Molen and Josephine Bond were all able to record falls in their match as they were strong throughout the evening.

DCG will be having more meets coming up, as they look to continue to put together a positive performance to begin the season.
