The AC/GC Chargers basketball teams are preparing to get their seasons started.
The girls team has already taken part in a preseason tournament and scrimmage, and will be starting the regular season in just under two weeks with the boys team. Both teams start the season off with a doubleheader at Atlantic on November 28th, then host the Woodward-Granger Hawks on December 1st, Van Meter Bulldogs on the 5th, and the Ogden Bulldogs on the 8th.
The teams then hit the road and travel to Avoca to take on the AHSTW Vikings on December 11th, and the IKM Manning Wolves in Manning on the 12th, before returning home to host the Panorama Panthers on the 15th and West Central Valley Wildcats on the 19th. The Chargers last game before Christmas break will take them to Des Moines to face off against the Des Moines Christian Lions on December 21st.
AC/GC returns from break to go on a road game against the Madrid Tigers on January 5th, and to Granger to take on the Hawks for the second time in the season on the 9th.The Earlham Cardinals and CAM Cougars will both visit the Chargers at home on January 12th and 15th respectively, before AC/GC hits a five game road streak to take on Ogden, Panorama, the Interstate 35 Roadrunners, West Central Valley and Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders. The regular season ends for the Chargers with two home games, the first on February 2nd against the Pleasantville Trojans, and the second against the Madrid Tigers on the 6th.
