Shaun Murphy, age 45, 465 Sherrylynn Blvd, Pleasant Hill, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence and Open Container.  

Christian Barrett, age 38, 20 3rd Ave SE, Waukon, was arrested for Driving While License Denied Or Revoked.  

Maurice Boyd, age 45, 3560 E. Douglas Ave, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violation Of Probation Terms. 

Jeffrey Rau, Waukee, was driving in the 25000 block of W Ave when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $3000.  The vehicle was moved at a later time as it was not drivable. 

Jeffrey Whyle, Adel, was driving on K Ave at Old Highway 6, when he was blinded by another vehicles headlights.  This caused him to travel through a stop sign and across the intersection, hitting a pole as he entered the ditch.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $10000.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Mary Beljaars, West Des Moines, was traveling in the 28000 block of 440th Trail, when she lost control and went into the ditch.  Ms. Beljaars was checked on scene by EMS and refused any further treatment.  Damage was estimated at $5000 and the vehicle was towed from the scene. 

 A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
