Practical Farmers of Iowa (PFI) will be in Guthrie County next weekend for one of their Field Days.

According to PFI Media Relations Coordinator Elizabeth Wilhelm, the group will be holding a Field Day in conjunction with Early Morning Harvest in Panora on November 18th, to discuss and perform some hands-on learning pertaining to the overall topics of “Milling and Marketing Small Grains Through Multiple Channels.” She adds that the Field Days are used to showcase farmers with operations of all sizes, and cover conventional and organic field crops, cover crops and small grains, and livestock systems for animals of varying size and species. The Field Day is free to attend and open to the public.
